Wills – Cheap Isnt Always Cheerful

Date Added 16.09.15

Arranging a Will may not be on the top of your “to do” list but if it isn’t, it certainly should be. It is essential to put a Will in place if you want to make sure that your personal effects and assets pass to the people you choose when you pass away. Your Will is your final wish and legacy and it is therefore important to get it right.

It can be tempting to save money and cut corners by buying cheap “do it yourself” Will kits to complete at home or by approaching Will writers, banks or supermarkets to complete the task. However, as with most things, if it seems too good to be true, it probably is.

With recent cases such as Aregbesola reaching the newspapers, it is easy to see the importance of accurate Will drafting. A poorly drafted Will could mean that your wishes fail due to lack of clarity, invalid completion or lack of legal knowledge and there is little point in making a Will if your intentions cannot be followed.

It is also important to note that will-writing services are often provided by unqualified, untrained and unregulated businesses, which could leave you and your family without recourse if the Will is not completed correctly.

We believe that the saying “you get what you pay for” definitely applies to Will drafting services. That is why we provide a personal, professional and friendly face to face service that represents good value for money, with clear fixed fees from the outset, giving you transparency and clarity when it comes to costs.
