Shout About It Hertfordshire Celebrating 20 Years Of POhWER

The event which will be held on Thursday 5th May 2016, 10am – 2pm at Stevenage Leisure Centre is a celebration that marks 20 years of POhWER providing information, advice, support and advocacy to people who experience disability, vulnerability, distress and social exclusion.

If you care for someone who is disabled, elderly, vulnerable or feels alone this event is tailored to help you find out what local services are available to help you in Hertfordshire.

Darren Conway a solicitor at Tollers Solicitors commented “We are delighted to be supporting this fantastic event for POhWER, with whom we share premises in Stevenage. Karon can provide advice on elderly and vulnerable financial abuse. Advice for those who require care either in their own home or in a residential setting helping to put their affairs in order by way of ‘Power Of Attorney’.

She can also help with funding assessments to ensure they are carried out correctly and that all state benefits are claimed.

Fiona can provide guidance and advice on a variety of legal matters including tax and trust, administration of estates (including those with overseas assets) and the preparation of wills.
