Increase in Tribunal Fees for Certain Claims
On the 6th April 2014, the following claims will be amended to Type B claims for the purposes of the level of Tribunal fees to be paid. This is to correct a mistake in the original legislation where the claims below were detailed as being Type A.
– Equal Pay
– Sex equality in pension schemes
– Failure to inform or consult under TUPE
– Failure to allow compensatory rest under the Working Time Regulations 1998
– reach of the right to request time off for training
As employers are aware, Type B claims attract an initial fee of £250 to lodge a claim and then a further £950 as a hearing fee.
