Celebrating Make A Will Month Success

Date Added 08.02.17

Tollers are proud to have supported Willen Hospice once again throughout November 2016 with their Make a Will Month, with Tollers’ clients raising over £1,900 in cash donations.

Tollers Solicitors provided free Will writing services to members of the public throughout November 2016 in support of Willen Hospice. The scheme runs twice per year; in May and November and is supported on each occasion by Tollers.

As a charity, Willen Hospice needs to raise £7 every minute to continue to provide its dedicated services and support to individuals with life-limiting illnesses and their families.

Tonina Ashby of Tollers Trusts & Estates team commented: “Willen Hospice is a popular and worthy organisation providing care and support to the local community. The Willen Make a Will Scheme is always very well received and supported by the public, which is demonstrated by the funds raised in this month of the scheme alone.”

“It is estimated that 60% of people die without a valid will”

It’s important to have a will, regardless of your age to save unnecessary stress for your loved ones at what can be an already difficult time. It’s especially important for those who have young children or to provide for anyone that depends on you financially and you may want to leave something to someone outside of the family. Making a Will is also very important for cohabiting (unmarried) couples and those with second marriages and stepchildren.

The Willen Will writing scheme allows you access to a fully qualified Solicitor who can provide advice and assistance alongside a professionally drafted Will. You can be sure that your wishes are taken care of whilst contributing to a local charity.
