We are looking for a full-time Property Secretary – Administrator to work within a team environment in our very busy Property Department based at our Stevenage office.

The main duties of this full-time role will include but are not limited to the following –

  • provide an efficient and effective administration service to new clients by dealing with incoming and outgoing post, emails, telephone calls & office appointments
  • opening new files and production of standard letters and documents as directed
  • file opening to include entry of data into a case management system
  • compliance with the firm’s money laundering requirements
  • producing standard letters to clients requesting proof of identification

You will work for various fee earners in a busy department. This role will involve full secretarial support across the department which will include diary management, some digital dictation, filing & photocopying.

You will be providing crucial administrative support to our experienced team with a demanding workload. This means that you must be able to handle pressure, have keen attention to detail and be able to prioritise your daily workload.  You will need to have a confident telephone manner as you will have considerable contact with existing and prospective new clients.  A methodical approach to work, which needs to be completed under strict deadlines, are vital for this role.

Previous experience of working in a busy legal or office environment would be advantageous, however, training will be given as appropriate.
