Brian Auld has been a company commercial lawyer for over 30 years and joined Tollers in 2022. He has advised a variety of businesses during that time both as an in-house lawyer for the likes of Racal Electronics, Toshiba and Nortel, as well as in private practice.
As a trainee solicitor, he spent time in Brussels with the European Commission and negotiated IT/supply contracts in Sweden, Denmark, France and Algeria.
For the last 20 years Brian has specialised in advising clients in regard to commercial contacts and everything related to setting up, running and selling a business.
He is highly experienced and works with both start-ups and established businesses and prides himself on being able to provide understandable commercial/pragmatic advice and works in partnership to find the right solution for clients.

As a Dad and Grandad Brian likes to spend time with his kids/grandkids. He likes to keep fit and bird-watch. Swimming is his preferred activity and he particularly enjoys swimming in his local outdoor pool and is also partial to a bit of cycling on the static bike and walking.
He has participated in the London Marathon, Great North Run and C2C bike ride – Whitehaven to Tynemouth.
