We offer Training Contracts as well as Solicitor Apprenticeships. Both are routes to qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales. The Training Contract route is subject to successful candidates passing the LPC. The Solicitor Apprenticeships offer a route to qualification through completing the SQE and the relevant course at BPP University Law School (BPP), our chosen course provider.
We offer two types of Solicitor Apprenticeships: the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeship (aimed at law graduates and non-law graduates who have completed the Graduate Diploma in Law (GDL)) and the Solicitor Apprenticeship (aimed at school leavers or individuals without a law degree or the GDL). Whichever route appeals to you, you will be given the same structured and supportive training from us.
What are we looking for:
You will be an essential part of the team and need to be able to interact comfortably with your peers and Partners, both on a work and a social level.
Being technically astute is not enough. Value is added to clients by understanding the commercial world in which they operate in.
For Training Contracts and the Graduate Solicitor Apprenticeships, you will need to have the ability to gain at least a 2:1 in your principal degree. For Solicitor Apprenticeships for school leavers, you will need to have gained Grade 5 or C or above in your G.C.S.Es and 3 A Levels (or equivalent), equating to 128 UCAS points or higher.
As well as academic success, achievement in other areas of your life is important.
You need to be comfortable working under pressure in tough situations. Legal work is generally hard and demanding and will test you to the limit.
We believe that you work better in a supportive and fun environment. In return, we offer outstanding all-round legal training, excellent rates of pay and a generous holiday and benefits package.
