Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Management of Tollers have been monitoring and following the advice of the UK Government and the relevant Public Health Authorities in the light of the evolving Coronavirus crisis.

Following the Government’s latest update Tollers has established its policy in connection with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) as articulated below.  That advice is being updated on a daily basis and so it is likely that our policies will further develop in the days and weeks to come.

Tollers has taken robust measures to ensure that our offices remain open in order that our teams might be able to continue to provide services to all of our clients.  We are doing everything within our powers to ensure that no services are adversely affected despite the current crisis.

The health and safety of our employees and all of our clients are our primary concerns at the present time.  We have made arrangements for our staff and teams to work from home and remotely as and when the need arises. We also have further contingency plans in the event of additional restrictions being placed upon the business world by the UK Government.  If those restrictions extend to a mandatory closure of offices our teams will have the capability to continue to provide our clients with professional advice from their homes and will remain contactable at all times by telephone or by e-mail.

In addition, we have advised all Tollers staff to refrain from attending public group events and to ensure that they follow the Government’s guidance and practice social distancing.

In terms of members of staff returning from holiday the following will apply:

  • For staff returning from low-risk overseas destinations approval must be sought before returning to the office.
  • For staff returning from high-risk destinations, a 14 day period of self-isolation must be followed irrespective of the presentation of symptoms.

Tollers’ policies are designed to ensure that we may continue to provide as full a service to our clients as normal.  There will however be some differences for our clients.  Face to face appointments with our clients are being suspended forthwith unless they are absolutely critical and even then they will only proceed provided that none of the prospective participants are at risk or displaying any symptoms.

As an alternative to face to face meetings, all of Tollers staff remain available to our clients on their usual telephone numbers and e-mail addresses.  We also have the technology to communicate with clients by way of WhatsApp, Skype and video conferencing.  So any meetings that are required or requested by our clients can go ahead just as if you are in our offices with us.

While the current situation is extremely problematic and worrying for all, Tollers wishes to continue to provide exceptional services while at the same time safeguarding all of our staff and our clients.

We wish our staff, our clients and all of their families good health.  Stay safe and we will emerge from this crisis unified and stronger.
