Uninsured Drivers Car Accidents
It's a lesser known fact that you could still make a claim against an uninsured driver.
Under the Uninsured Drivers Agreement, the Motor Insurers Bureau (MIB) stands in the place of an insurer and reviews the evidence to determine the level of compensation. Under this Agreement, the offending motorist must be identified, but believe it or not, the registration of the offending vehicle is not necessary. You also should not have willingly travelled with this driver knowing before you did so that he/she was not insured.
We can help with these types of claims. We have particular expertise in this area - having 3 people in our RTA Claims team who used to work for the MIB. Contact: Nina Chivers, Louise Hulse or Louisa Earnscliffe
