CHARITY OF THE YEAR TASKS

TASK 1 - Team Fundraising Idea

This is your chance for your team to get off to a flying start in Tollers' Apprentice.

Each of the Apprentice Teams must come up with unique ways of raising the most money for Age UK.

The ideas can be as big as you like (within reason) or as small as you want. There is no limit on the number of fundraising activities your team can hold. It's all about thinking outside the box and coming up with those ideas that are going to inspire people to get involved and dip into their pockets.

The first Apprentice challenge has been set and it is over to you to impress Sir Alan and avoid the boardroom. In order to give you some inspiration we have come up with some fundraising ideas, please click on the icon below

Task 2 - Northampton Saints Task

I have got my hands on a batch of highly prized Northampton Saints vs.. Saracens on the 26th November 2011 at Franklins Gardens and it is up to the Apprentices and their teams to sell the tickets.

Kick off has been moved to 17:00, which should make for an excellent atmosphere in the evening.

This is a great opportunity for you to get shifting through your contacts, friends and family and giving them the opportunity to watch a thrilling game of Premiership Rugby.

Don’t forget for each ticket sold Saints Rugby Club will donate £5 to our Charity of the Year, Age UK, and the winner of the challenge will be the Apprentice and their team that sell the most tickets.

Task 3 - Morrisons' Bag Packing Task

This time teams will be raising money at our local Morrisons store at 26 Victoria Parade, Northampton on Friday 3rd February. The task will see teams helping members of the public to pack their shopping bags at the supermarket’s tills. We have arranged with Morrisons to have two slots to bag pack between 12:30 – 14:00 and 16:30-18:00.  Teams are also able to bag-pack after work hours until the store closes at 10pm. Apprentices must nominate 1 or 2 members of their team to bag pack on one or both of the slots.

The winner of the challenge will be the Apprentice and their team that collects the most money!
