Typically this has been suffered by people doing long hours of repetitive work, such as data entry, seated incorrectly and/or without adequate breaks and seated incorrectly. You would need to have been diagnosed with a recognised medical condition such as carpel tunnel syndrome or tendonitis. This would need to have developed as a result of your work and your employer needs to have been aware of the risk and have failed to take reasonable steps to resolve the problems giving rise to the condition. The condition can arise form other repetitive work, for example preparing chickens or repeated lifting.
It will help us raise the chance of success in your claim if you can clearly identify when you first became aware of the problems, when you first sought medical advice and when you first linked the problems to your work. If you have changed employer, please supply us with a complete list of all the people/companies you have worked for where you have used vibrating tools or anything has happened that might have contributed to the development of the condition. Also it will help us if you can trace witnesses as to the work conditions, if anyone else has suffered or complained about the conditions before hand.
