We will find out from you what happened and we will want to gather as much information as possible, including the details of the person you blame and the date of the accident. If it is a motor accident (RTA), then it will help if you have their insurance details and the vehicle registration numbers.
Our Advice
We will advise you there and then as to our view on your prospects of success and will give you our best guess as to the amount of compensation you might recover – based on the information that you have given us.
How will you fund your claim?
We will discuss with you the possible ways open to you to fund your claim and investigate what might be the most appropriate for you. Most cases we find are funded by “no win no fee” agreements backed by insurance. We will arrange all of this for you.
Initial Letters
We will confirm our advice in writing in a Client Care Letter and other initial documents (Terms of Business, draft Letter of Claim – for non-RTA claims, or the ‘Claim Notification Form’ for RTA claims). There is quite a bit of paperwork. We apologise for this but professional regulations which apply to us require us to send this. Do not be alarmed. We will help you with it. Please call us if you have any concerns. Once we have received this back, we will move on to the next stage.
