Commitment to Development

We recruit talented individuals and we are committed to developing our people. Our training and development agenda is extensive and includes:

  • A comprehensive induction programme for all new people with trainer led sessions, on the job coaching supported by our intranet, website links, IT and our bespoke case management systems
  • An annual appraisal, supplemented by a tailored Personal Development Plan (PDP), reviewed regularly, and aligned to the strategic direction of the the business. 
  • Sponsorship for qualifications and externally organised courses agreed as part of PDP's
  • For fee earners and other professionals ensuring the requisite CPD points are obtained each year
  • Team and Business Unit meetings use varied learning techniques including interactive online learning, DVD's, in-house courses with external speakers and external programmes where appropriate
A leadership and management programme is provided for our more senior people covering management training, team building, motivational skills, organisation and business planning
