Well Earned Summer Holidays

After the hype and disappointment of England's performance in the world cup finals we can now focus on the summer holiday season upon us. We therefore decided it only appropriate to have our Top 10 list of favourite holiday drinks. But first, a couple of highlights from the team this past month:

We have now completed the group restructuring for an Environmental group of companies listed on the AIM market. The FD, Ian Bristow said: "Tollers did a great job in dealing with the restructuring of our business. The project was very well managed and administered from start to finish with a real emphasis on quality legal work within a highly defined time frame."

We were commissioned to draw up bespoke Terms and Conditions for MKbmt. David Nicholson, MD for MKbmt Ltd commented: "The service was responsive, professional, and friendly. We feel confident that Tollers Solicitors will guide us through any legal obligations we may encounter in the future."

Trusts & Estates partner Martin Hill visited the HQ of Totus Wealth Management in Gibraltar in July. Totus is a growing wealth management company with offices in Spain and UK (London and Milton Keynes). Totus and Tollers are working closely on developing client referrals and joint initiatives on private client work. Martin also visited the offices of law firm Triay & Triay, who own a majority stake in Totus and met with two of their partners with a view to establishing a working relationship and to reciprocate client referrals between the UK and Gibraltar.

On a more personal note we are very happy to congratulate Duncan's secretary, Claire on the new addition to her family. Although her new baby boy decided to come two weeks early both mum and baby are doing well.

This brings us to our Top 10 Holiday Drinks. Despite the option of anything-with-alcohol-in-drink, we have decided to include a few non-alcoholic drinks in our Top 10:

10. Grenadine and Lemonade
9. Gluhwein (to include the winter holidays)
8. Bloody Mary or for the more responsible drinker, Virgin Mary
7. Whiskey Sours
6. Flatliner (Sambucca, Tequila & Tabasco Sauce)
5. Heineken or Amstel served in a Greek Taverna in a large frosted glass (Greek Taverna not optional)
4. Toothless Shark (Lime, Grenadine and Orange Juice)
3. Mojito (lots of rum… with mint leaves, soda and lime)
2. Flying Hirsh (Jägermeister and Red Bull)

AND AT NUMBER ONE

1. Pimms & Lemonade - got to be number one, nothing beats a Pimms on a hot summers day
