Planning Obligations

Clients associated with a prospective planning consent may be required to enter into planning agreements and obligations with the relevant local authority,  in order that planning consent can be obtained.   Such agreements contain obligations which will often relate to planning gain including financial contributions, obligations as to highway works, the provision of low cost housing and other local authority requirements.  We  will have regard to the terms of these agreements and ensure the client is fully aware of their obligations.

Infrastructure Funding

Infrastructure funding is a developing field with proposals for a new Community Infrastructure Levy to be introduced within the next two years.  We can advise clients on the potential implications of these developments.
